Life comes at you fast and things pass you by. But for me it seems like there are so many more challenges in the world for humans, as a whole, to endure than ever before. We are more cunning, more technologically advanced and even more heartless. My post is to bring you back to reality. Yes, I feel as though my trivial upsets are tiny microcsms in the grand scheme of life. Truth is, I just spent a moment of my life escaping from real world issues that are prominent for those suffering from them first hand. The reality, there are hundreds of thousands of people dead in Haiti right now. I am alive. There are even more people who are victims of slavery right now. I am free. I have been fortunate enough to have lived the life I have. I can help these people by shining a bit of light on these dark truths. So can you. Donate your time and efforts and above all, stay aware.

What's up Central Florida? I've got two Artshows for you backtoback. Good vibes y'all The majority of my latest blogs have been random, as I tend to be. I appreciate your time and attention. I hope everyone has had an amazing start to their Eleventies as I have thus far. I feel uber lucky to be living in an era of such new technologies and advanced thinking. (i.e. the iphone, blackberry, mac books and For the first time in story we have an African-American president.)
